Overview
A submitted syllabus enters a workflow, which can be tracked in the proposals tab.
Some workflows may take a proposal directly from submission to approval, while others may have many steps in between.
The Proposals tab includes all syllabus submissions (including Rejected, Suspended, Pending, and Approved submissions), while the Syllabi tab includes only approved syllabi within the selected Syllabus Group.
How to Track a Proposal
Step 1:
Navigate to the Proposals tab and select the “Created by Me” tab.
This tab includes all Proposals you have submitted.
Other tabs may allow you to view Syllabi submitted by other users, depending on your permissions.
Step 2: Use the search bar, “Document type” dropdown, “Sort By” options, or the “Filters” button to refine your search if you are searching for an older proposal that does not already appear in your view.
Step 3:
The default view for any syllabus in the list will display Name, Proposal Type, Current Step (how many Workflow steps the Proposal has completed and how many remain), and the Request Status (Screenshot 1 below).
To pull more information into that view, use the Columns dropdown select (Screenshot 2 below).
Step 4:
Select a proposal.
The Request Toolbox on the right will display the proposal’s status and workflow step in the Decision tab.
The Workflow and Activity tabs display the proposal’s workflow history and any action taken on the proposal.
The “Activity” tab will capture the impact of logic jumps and custom decisions on proposal/request trajectory.
Step 5:
To edit the proposal, use the Edit Request button above the Request Toolbox.
If you don't see this option, it means your user permissions don't allow you to edit requests.
