Overview
All syllabus drafts, proposals, and final syllabi are automatically saved and stored within Syllabus Management.
There are two ways to locate individual syllabi, depending on whether or not they have completed the relevant workflow: via the Syllabi tab (shows syllabi that have completed the workflow) and via the Proposals tab (mainly used to show syllabi that are still undergoing review).
All Syllabi can be printed or exported as PDFs.
Syllabus Management does not currently support an LMS integration or bulk Syllabus export.
Finding Syllabi That Have Completed Their Workflow
Step 1: Navigate to Syllabus > Syllabi.
Step 2: Select the Syllabus Group that the Syllabus is associated with.
Step 3: Configure your search:
Use the dropdown at the top of the page to choose an Effective Start Date or Effective Start Term to filter the Syllabi you’d like to view.
If you know the name of the Syllabus you’re searching for, use the search bar.
Use the Advanced Filters option to filter on any field in the Syllabus Group’s Template.
Step 4 (Optional): Use the Columns dropdown to choose which fields to include in your view.
Exporting Results
If you’ve created a filtered view of the Syllabi page that you’d like to export, click the “Export Results” button in the top-right corner of the page. This will export a CSV report with your filters and columns applied.
Exporting a Syllabus
Step 1: Select the Syllabus you wish to export.
Step 2: Click “Print” under “Actions” on the right-hand side of the screen.
Step 3:
A print dialog menu will appear.
Set the destination to “Save as PDF”.
Step 4: Click “Save” to export the Syllabus as a PDF.
Additional Note
Currently, Syllabi can only be exported individually.
Finding a Syllabus Proposal
Approved and proposed Syllabi alike can be found via the Proposals tab.
When you open a proposal from the Proposals tab, you’ll open the proposal rather than the final syllabus itself. If the syllabus is approved, you’ll be able to open the Syllabus and export it by selecting “Click here” from the Request Toolbox > Decision tab.
