If you submitted a request through Coursedog, you can easily modify the content of the request. The process for editing a request in Academic Scheduling, Event Scheduling, Curriculum Management, and Online Catalogs is virtually the same, with one subtle difference for Curriculum Management (nuance captured below).

How to Do It

Step One:

  • For Academic Scheduling, Event Scheduling, and Online Catalogs – Navigate to the product’s home page and select “Requests” from the menu on the left.

  • For Curriculum Management – Select “Proposals” from the menu on the left.

Step Two:

  • Select the request you wish to edit and hit the "Edit Request" button in the top right corner.

  • If you don’t see an “Edit Request” option, it means the Role permissions set by your institution don’t allow you to make edits.

  • Regardless of role permissions, the author of a request should see the "Edit Request" option.

Step Three:

  • Hit “Save.”

  • After you hit “save”, you will be notified of the relevant downstream effects (whether or not the workflow resets will depend on the permissions set by your institution). You can learn more about permissions and workflow reset options here.

Additional Notes

With Events Scheduling, you can also view and edit requests by selecting “My Requests” under the action bar on the right side of the homepage.
