Time zones will default to either user location or school location depending on whether you are looking at the Coursedog User Interface (UI) or viewing a PDF.

Coursedog UI

Time zones are calculated according to the user’s location within the Coursedog UI. If a user’s time zone isn’t appearing as expected, this is likely an issue with their browser settings rather than Coursedog.

PDFs

Time zones are calculated according to the school’s location in PDFs. If a school location isn’t defined, the time stamp in PDFs will default to the “fallback” value, which is America/New York.
