Editing Requests Submitted through the Coursedog UI

Overview

If you submitted an event request for your institution through the Coursedog UI, and you need to make a change to that request, you can do so in Coursedog.  

How To Do It

Step 1: 

  • Navigate to your Events homepage.

  • Click “My Requests” under the action bar on the right.

Step 2: Click “Created by Me” to see requests you’ve submitted.

 

Step 3: Click the request you wish to modify.

Step 4: 

  • Click "Edit Request".

  • Regardless of role permissions, the author of a request will have an "Edit Request" button on the top right corner of any request they created.

  • If you are not the author of the request you wish to edit, you will only be able to edit it through this method if you have been granted the “Edit Request” permission by an Admin. Otherwise, you won’t see the “Edit Request” option. Learn more about related permissions here

Step 5: Edit the request as needed and hit "save changes".

 

Additional Notes

  • You can also access and edit pending events from the calendar view by locating the event and then: Click “Open Event Page” > “View Requests” > Click into the Request > “Edit Request”.

  • Depending on the permissions set by your institution, upon making edits and hitting “Save”, the workflow might or might not reset. Learn more about reset workflow options here.
