Problem Overview
An approved event is still labeled as “Pending”, preventing you from being able to edit event details.
Solution Overview
If you’re unable to edit an approved event because it’s stuck in “pending” status, a user with “editEvents” permission can:
Open the event details.
Click “View Requests” under actions.
Select “Confirmed” from the dropdown.
Select “Apply New Status”.
Additional Note
Similar to the above, if an event request is rejected but that rejected event also becomes stuck in pending, you can follow the same above steps but will select “Canceled”.
