ROOMS: How can I choose which rooms are available for a specific event type?

Overview

You can specify which rooms are allowed to be booked by a specific event type.

How To Do It

Step 1: Navigate to Events > Settings and click the “Form” button for the event type you wish to modify.

Step 2: 

  • You will be taken to the form editor where you can edit the fields within the event request form.

  • Navigate to the card titled "Meetings & Locations".

Step 3: 

  • You’ll notice the body of the card contains a field titled "Allowed rooms".

  • Click the blue gear icon in the top right to adjust this field.

Step 4:

  • By default, all rooms are allowed to be used for the event type.

  • To change this, click on the Allowed Rooms field, and you will be taken to the Select Rooms modal.

Step 5:

  • You can select all of the rooms that you want made available for this event type.

  • There is a checkbox at the bottom left that reads Exclude selected rooms. By checking this box, the event type will be available to every room except the rooms you have selected.
