How can I choose what rooms are available to a specific event type?

To specify which rooms are allowed to be booked by a specific event type, head into settings and click the ‘Form’ button in the desired event type.

You will be taken to the form editor where you can edit the fields within the event request form. Navigate to the card titled Meetings & Locations.

You’ll notice the body of the card contains a field titled Allowed rooms. If you click the blue gear icon in the top right, you’ll be able to adjust this field. You’ll notice that, by default, all rooms are allowed to be used for the event type.

To change this, click on the Allowed Rooms field and you will be taken to the Select Rooms modal.


Here, you can select all of the rooms that you want made available for this event type. 

NOTE: There is a checkbox at the bottom left that reads Exclude selected rooms. By checking this box, the event type will be available to every room except the rooms you have selected.
