SECTION EDITING: How can I find sections by CRN/callNumber?

Overview

Many institutions, particularly those that use Banner, rely on CRN/callNumber as a section identifier. If CRN/callNumber exists, users are able to use this value as a searchable parameter in the Section Dashboard search bar.

 

How To Do It

Step One

  • Navigate to Scheduling > Dashboard > Sections

  • Make sure you are on the “Sections” tab. Searching by CRN/callNumber will not work in other tabs. 


Step Two: Search for the applicable CRN/callNumber in the “Search for sections” search bar. The applicable section will be displayed in the Results.
